Our mixed breed block of laying hens has a great life. Many of the chickens in our flock were hatched in local school classrooms as part of our farm education programs. Others were raised from chicks here on the farm. They move around the pasture following the sheep eating bugs and receive a daily mix of food scrap treats. They get supplemental organic chicken feed and lay beautiful eggs for our customers.
